Amy Locust Whatever is the 2014 album by Cyberbully Mom Club. I had listened to this album before, but not all the way through since the first time I listened to it probably around 2019. I got Nicotine+ on my laptop, downloaded the album, and figured I'd give it another full listen. I think all my favorite tracks remain the same- "smking to dth", "philadelphia, don't you haunt me", and "fight night champion". It's a really mellow album and I like listening to the songs while outside a lot of the time. Good walking music, too. This album feels like itt was made for 20 year old they/them's with a lack of direction. Perfect for me!

Miki Matsubara is one of my favorite artists, and city pop is one of my favorite genres, so it surprised me when I realized I'd never listened to a Matsubara album all the way through. I'm glad I did. If your unfamiliar with city-pop, it's a Japanese jazz-pop fusion genre. It also helped get Western instruments popular in Japan. I found out about the genre when my middle school WWII phase turned into a lifelong obsession with cultures from all around, but it started with Japan, Shinto, and city pop. The album is the most classic city pop album I could imagine, and Miki Matsubara is an amazing singer. I would and will be reccomending this album to everyone.
